When I first started Ferreira Dance & Costume ten years ago, I called it "Do Your Own Thing. Back then, I was a starving young dance teacher to hundreds of tiny ballerinas from around Los Angeles. To help make ends meet, I began making dance
skirts in my apartment. I knew I was onto something when all of my
students bought one. All of a sudden, everyone was asking me what else
I could design. Soon, I decided to make leotards. Being the
perfectionist I am, it took me over two years to create the perfect
fit. Once again, they flew off the shelves faster than I could make
them. Now---ten years later---my little side venture has expanded into
a significant, nationwide costume company known as Ferreira Dance
& Costumes. Since the beginning, I developed a great reputation
for several things: great fit, outstanding customer service, innovative
designs, extraordinary value, and dependable, on-time shipping. Even
though my company is bigger now, my staff and I still service our
customers in the same personal way as when I was just starting out. We always put you first.
On a personal note, I believe that success breeds success, and practice a philosophy I call "Living
Forward" (see below). I have always felt a deep concern about children
worldwide. Now, I express that concern by contributing generously to

children of all races, creeds, and nations. I challenge every dancer
who lives a privileged life in the United States, as we all do, to take

DANCE FORWARD: A WAY OF LIFE
At
Ferreira Dance our designers and customer-care representatives come
from within the dance industry. We understand the process of ordering
recital costumes and how stressful that can be. Our customer-care
representatives are trained to make every effort in solving a problem,
and delivering what you need when you need it. You can come to us with
tears in your eyes, and we'd like to think that you?ll have a smile
when we are done. We are fully commmitted to doing everything to the
very best of our abilities, just as you teach your students they should
do. We believe in working forward, living forward, and dancing forward.
Giving away a little of what we?ve earned through our hard work is also a very satisfying experience. Child Care Worldwide
has given us this opportunity and we encourage our clients to teach
